Пока пассажиры европейских авиалиний коротали время в аэропортах и гостиницах, The Chemical Brothers решили не менять своих планов из-за исландского вулкана.
Проигнорировав запрет на перелеты, музыканты смело отправились в Милан на частном самолете, чтобы выступить перед итальянскими поклонниками.
Полет музыкантов по затянутому вулканическим пеплом небу прошел успешно. И сейчас The Chemical Brothers уже вернулись на родину.
К другим музыкантам, которых не смогла остановить стихия, относится группа Metallica. Они мужественно отправились из Осло в Ригу на автобусе, чтоб порадовать своих фанатов выступлением. Автобус с музыкантами и персоналом порядка 50-ти человек ехал 24 часа из Норвегии в Ригу. Также официально объявлено, что случившийся природный катаклизм никак не повлияет на запланированные концерты «Металлики» в Москве, в СК Олимпийский, 24 и 25 апреля.
Однако многим артистам все-таки пришлось изменить свой концертный график. Так, свои выступления на крупных фестивалях отменили Crystal Castles, The Cribs, Delphic, Гэри Ньюман и множество других музыкантов.
